DCP is starting 2020 with some great news.
We are delighted to announce that John Read, based in our Norwich office, has been made a Partner.
John has been with DCP for nearly 17 years, joining as a trainee building surveyor in 2003. A graduate of Royal Holloway and Anglia Ruskin, he was chartered as a building surveyor in 2010 and made an Associate of DCP in 2015. In addition to membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, John is also a member of the Association of Project Safety and the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors.
Offering his congratulations, Senior Partner, Robert Dale, commented, “As the practice continues to thrive and grow we are very pleased to provide opportunities for career progression allowing our staff to fulfil their potential. This is a well-deserved promotion for John.”
In his time to date with DCP John has worked on a huge variety of projects. Particular highlights include the initial development and subsequent extension of the Spectra Packaging plant at Halesworth in Suffolk and, during a secondment to our London office, working at the renowned Brit School in Croyden.
When not at work John is a keen sportsman, with cricket and five-a-side football being particular favourites. He is a stalwart Norwich City fan and surprisingly partial to Pontefract cakes!
