"DCP's USP is to go the extra mile. Knowing that as a practice we always do our absolute best for our clients makes my job a real pleasure.”

I joined DCP in an admin role in 2011, following a career break to look after my children. Prior to that I had spent 15 years working in the aviation sector, organising events for industry leaders. In 2015 I was delighted to be given the opportunity to provide marketing support to the practice.

No two days are ever the same. Sharing news and promoting the excellent work that DCP undertakes across social media, our website, and other media platforms gives me a buzz every day.

DCP is very good at encouraging the surveyors of the future and promoting a positive image of the industry to young people. My first experience at DCP was as a work placement student in 2006. I obviously enjoyed it because following a BSc in Building Surveying, I joined the practice full time in 2011 as a Health & Safety Advisor. Subsequently my role expanded to include quantity surveying – specifically, Employer’s Agent, Contract Administration and project management – before I moved back to focus solely on Health & Safety. I was appointed as an Associate at the start of 2023.

I have a wide-ranging skill base but specialise in Health & Safety, CDM Advice and Contract Administration.

I am a member of Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, and Association of Project Safety.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing football for Dedham Old Boys and cricket for Chappel & Wakes Colne Cricket Club where I’m also Club Captain. I’m a life-long follower of Fulham FC – sorry, not sorry! Relaxing often takes the form of long country walks with our fit and friendly pug, Ralph. They say dogs are like their owners. Pugs are renowned for being loyal, strong willed, devoted and active – that’s me to a T!

If I’m not watching my kids play sport at the weekends then I may be found on the golf course, tennis court or cycling around Richmond Park. Or maybe even watching Chelsea who I’ve supported since the dark days!
