Annual Charity Golf Day 2026

14 October 2026

Rain couldn’t stop play at our Annual Golf Day

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at Thetford Golf Club for our annual Charity Golf Day on Wednesday 7 October –  a fun day of friendly competition and fundraising in support of two amazing charities.

While the golfing gods didn’t quite deliver the Autumn sunshine that we had hoped for, the wet weather did not dampen spirits.  Armed with umbrellas, waterproofs, a determined attitude (there’s no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing!) and fuelled with bacon sandwiches and coffee, 18 teams took to the fairways and embraced the challenge.

Above all, the day provided an excellent opportunity to raise vital funds for our chosen charities: It’s on the Ball and The Robin Cancer Trust both of which do incredible work raising awareness of testicular cancer and supporting those affected by the disease.

A huge thank you to all those who took part, donated raffle prizes, bought raffle tickets and helped make the day such a success, raising a fantastic amount for the two two charities.  Your generosity and enthusiasm as always made it a special event.

Congratulations to all of our winners who carried home trophies, prosecco and vouchers for American Golf.  You were brilliant!

Of course the real winners of the day were the charities. The proceeds of the day will be split equally between It’s on the Ball and The Robin Cancer Trust.   Roll on 2027!
