DCP Staff Conference 2026
Our staff conference in this, our 80th Anniversary year, was particularly special, as we combined it with a splendid celebratory afternoon tea at The Dorchester, Park Lane, London. It was a day when we could look back at past achievements, celebrate our people and focus on the future of the Daniel Connal Partnership. We also got a lot of steps in!
Following a very early start for some, the formal day began at Hyde Park Tube Sation, where we gathered before setting off through the park to enjoy brunch together overlooking the lake at the Serpentine Café & Kitchen.
An event like this provides countless photo opportunities and we were delighted to have photographer Phil Barnes with us to capture the day. And of course, Hyde Park and the Serpentine provided the perfect backdrop for a new ‘all staff’ photo’.
After brunch, we continued through Hyde Park to The Dorchester for our conference, which took place in the sumptuous wood-panelled surroundings of the Holford Room. A fitting setting for such a milestone year.
Senior Partner Robert Dale welcomed staff, particularly those who had joined the practice during the year, before providing an update on the business and our progress against the Five-Year Business Plan.
The team then split into smaller groups for some lively discussion on how DCP can continue to grow, improve, and strengthen both our way of working and the experience we provide for our clients. These ideas were then shared with the wider team.
With the ‘business’ part of the morning concluded we headed to nearby Wellington Arch for a fascinating guided tour, learning more about the history of this iconic London landmark and taking in the London sights from the viewing gallery at the top – more super photo opportunities!
Then back to The Dorchester to prepare for the arrival of our guests and to enjoy a truly special afternoon in the company of colleagues, clients and friends while tucking into a delicious afternoon tea.
All in all an amazing day, full of camraderie and laughter – and a staff conference that none of us is likely to forget!
