Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026
22 May 2026
DCP is one of the best places to work – it’s official!
We are incredibly proud to announce that Daniel Connal Partnership has been named as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026.
This nationwide workplace survey run by The Sunday Times in partnership with leading employee experience platform WorkL, recognises and celebrates the UK’s top employers, showcasing organisations that put people first – creating outstanding work cultures, supporting their teams and delivering exceptional employee experiences. To be included is a huge honour.
567 organisations from across the UK made the Sunday Times’ list – split into categories – very big, big, medium and small businesses – over nine industry sectors. They were assessed against six key areas: reward and recognition, information sharing, empowerment, instilling pride, job satisfaction and wellbeing.
We were recognised in the small business category achieving an overall employee engagement score of 87% – 13% above average for the construction and building materials sector.
What makes this achievement truly special is that it comes directly from our team and their day-to-day experience of working at DCP – such a great thing to celebrate in our landmark 80th Anniversary year.
Being the Best Place to Work isn’t just a slogan for us, it underpins everything we do and is central to attracting and retaining exceptional people who deliver an outstanding service.
We are proud to be a forward-thinking, people-first practice, with this people-focus deeply embedded in the culture of the firm. This means listening to our people, valuing their contributions, and giving them the support and freedom to grow. It makes us not just a workplace but a community.
Robert Dale, Senior Partner, said: “The quality of our work is driven by the quality of our people, so investing in them has always mattered to us.
“Our staff were especially complimentary when asked if they are doing something worthwhile, developing in their role and treated with respect. This makes me incredibly proud of the culture we have worked hard to build at Daniel Connal Partnership.
“As we mark 80 years in business this year, we’ve spent a lot of time thinking about the future of the profession and the type of business we want to continue building. Making the Times Best Places to Work 2026 list shows us that we are heading in the right direction.”
