With all three offices as busy as ever, we’re delighted to bring you up-to-date on some staff news.
First off, it is congratulations to Chris Talford in our Norwich office, who has been made an Associate. Chris joined DCP as a Senior Quantity Surveyor six years ago and has worked on wide range of projects across the education, commercial, residential, healthcare and community sectors. A recent particular highlight being his involvement in the award-winning extension and refurbishment of historic Wells Maltings.
Robert Dale, Senior Partner, commented, “As a growing practice we are always keen to provide opportunities for career progression that allow our staff to fulfil their potential. This is a well-deserved promotion for Chris.”
We are also delighted to greet three new members of staff to bolster the team.
Charlie Sinclair has joined the Norwich office. A graduate of Anglia Ruskin University, Charlie is an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in the structural steel industry. As a new Dad free time is a bit scarce for Charlie, but when parenting duties allow, he can be found in the garden or trying out some DIY.
Health and safety has long played an important role in what we do, and over the years our H&S team and the range of services it offers have expanded significantly. So we are delighted to welcome Sue Querée to the team at DCP. Joining us from a multi-disciplinary practice in Orpington, Sue is a highly experienced health and safety professional, specialising in the roles of Principal Designer and H & S Advisor. Sue is splitting her working week between the Norwich and Colchester offices. Having recently relocated from Kent to Norfolk, in her spare time she is enjoying exploring her new county and has recently ‘discovered’ the broads!
The London DCP office has welcomed Dave Manning. Dave is a Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager with a wealth of experience in the construction sector and particular expertise in defence, civil aviation, commercial mixed use, and large retail centre projects. Previously a Director of White Young Green, Dave has joined DCP to help enhance and expand our project management and quantity surveying services. Hailing from deep in the Cambridgeshire countryside, when he is not at work, Dave enjoys traditional country pursuits.
Senior Partner, Simon Jacklin, commented, “We believe that DCP’s unique selling point is the personal, professional service provided by its highly skilled people. I’m delighted to welcome Charlie, Sue and Dave to the team, to help us to continue to provide this excellent service to all our clients”.
