Value engineering was particularly important on this project and DCP proactively provided a list of potential savings to the client enabling them to get the facilities they required completed within their budget.
As the school remained operational throughout the build, and the site adjoined existing facilities which remained in use, student & staff safety was of paramount importance.
DCP implemented rigorous site rules and procedures and maintained close liaison with both the client & contractor. These measures, together with regular site monitoring, ensured that the project was completed safely with minimal disruption to the school.
Guest of honour at the opening ceremony was Olympian, Dame Katherine Grainger.
