ROYAL COLLEGE OF RADIOLOGISTS
Project: Internal Repairs & Redecorations
Client: The Royal College of Radiologists
Services provided: Contract Administration
Contract Value: £50k
The Partnership was appointed by the Royal College of Radiologists to assist with works as part of an on-going 10 year planned maintenance strategy (PMS) agreed following the PMS report undertaken by DCP in 2014.
A significant challenge on the project was the required six week timescale for programme completion.
The works included internal repairs and redecorations to the lower ground, ground and second floor of the 8 storey building and included meeting rooms, offices and a large reception area. It also included re-decoration of the Wolfson auditorium, built by the college to host large seminars and lectures.
Meticulous planning and execution of the works was required. Following consultation with the College, DCP prepared a project programme which identified a timeline of key dates and facilitated appropriate phasing of the works, to enable the College to remain open and operational throughout the construction phase,
Our rigorous tender process also ensured that the appointed contractor had the resources and labour available to complete the works within the required timescale.
The programme was successfully completed for our client within time and on budget.
