Daniel Connal Partnership has been appointed as Quantity Surveyor and Principal Designer CDM2015 on this substantial development on a former Ford Motor Company works car park site.
The 11,943m2 scheme covers the construction of 4 buildings, ranging from 3 to 9 storeys in height and external works comprising a new access road, a new bridge car and cycle parking and landscaped grounds.
It is a mixed development including residential and commercial accommodation, an hotel/aparthotel and business units.
As quantity surveyors on the project we are providing budget cost estimates, cash flow forecasts and assisting with the viability assessment. As Principal Designer we are advising the client of their duties under CDM2015, assisting the in the acquisition of pre-construction information and reviewing the designers’ compliance with their duties.
A planning application has been submitted. The client is currently awaiting the outcome.
