Work on 4 new business units in Heydon, North Norfolk, is nearing completion.
DCP has provided designer, contract administration and principal designer services on the scheme to regenerate and convert a dilapidated dairy and pigsty for the Heydon Estate. The contractor on the scheme is ND Willan.
With cows and pigs long gone, the buildings have now been converted into attractive, useful commercial space for local businesses. The new units are designed to be energy efficient with underfloor heating linked to air source heat pumps.
With such appealing properties, in a charming location, it is no surprise that three of the four units have already been let. A hairdresser, beauty salon and antiques studio – Avocet Antiques – are looking forward to moving in shortly.
This is Phase 2 of the of the Church Farm Barns regeneration and follows the successful completion of Phase 1 last year.
