DCP has been appointed by the Borough of Haringey on a project to refurbish and update its community library facilities.
The project consists of enhancement works to 7 libraries in the North London Borough: Wood Green, Stroud Green, Muswell Hill, Alexandra Park, Highgate, St Ann’s and Coombes Croft.
Haringey’s vision is to improve its current facilities to provide modern accessible library spaces that meet the needs and expectations of customers today. Innovative and modern library technologies, will be used to update library service provision, including an improved self-service system. The scheme will also include new furniture, books and fresh decoration. The Borough’s intention is to encourage, support and promote the library service by improving user experience and conditions at its libraries.
Daniel Connal Partnership has been appointed as Lead Consultant on the library refurbishment. Initially we will be undertaking measured surveys of the libraries and completing feasibility studies to enable the brief/ scope of works to be fully defined.
