We are delighted to see the ‘start on site’ of an exciting housing project in Narborough.
Daniel Connal Partnership is acting as Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveyor and Principal Designer on the £4.3m scheme in Denny’s Walk for Flagship Homes, being built by local contractor H Smith & Sons (Honningham). The architects on the project are The Design Partnership.
Flagship provides over 22,000 homes across the East of England. The development in Narborough will see the construction of 33 energy efficient, attractive new homes to meet local affordable housing needs.
The new homes, a mix of 1- 4 bedroom houses and 1 – 3 bedroom bungalows will be built on the site of 12 pre-fabricated post war properties which no longer meet the housing needs of the local community.
In addition to the new homes, there will also be a public space for residents and the wider community to enjoy. 
Planning permission was granted by Breckland Council in June. Work has now started on the site, marked by a ceremony to announce the winners of an Art Competition for local school children. The brief? To design their own housing development.
The first properties at Denny’s Walk are due to be handed over in March next year, with the final homes scheduled for completion in January 2019.
