Exhibiting for the first time at the ISBA.
DCP was delighted to have a stand at the Independent Schools Bursars’ Association Conference (ISBA 2019), which took place at the Manchester Central Convention Centre, the former Manchester Central railway station – a truly impressive exhibition space!
The event brought together around 500 bursars and senior management staff representing independent schools from across the UK and Ireland. Held over two days, the conference offered a full programme of sessions on topical issues for independent schools and ample opportunities for networking.
DCP has worked widely in the education sector for many years and exhibiting at the conference provided the ideal opportunity for Senior Partners Simon Jacklin and Robert Dale to catch up with existing clients, make contact with potential new ones and engage with other exhibitors.
Over the course of the conference we ran a competition to win a laser measuring device (a ‘disto’). An invaluable tool for surveyors and bursars alike.
The lucky winners were Julie Beeston, Bursar at St Edmund’s School in Hindhead and Greg Cole, Bursar at St George’s School in Weybridge.
The Leica ‘Distos’ were presented to Julie and Greg by Simon Jacklin.
Dates and the venue for next year’s conference have already been announced and we are looking forward to heading to Birmingham on 12/13 May for ISBA 2020!
