In light of the ongoing situation, we wanted to let you know how we are managing business at Daniel Connal Partnership.
For the time being most of our staff continue to work remotely and can be contacted via the usual telephone numbers and email addresses. Jonathan Rensink who heads up our Health & Safety department has, in line with Government guidance, carried out a comprehensive COVID-19 risk assessment for our offices. As a result, we have instigated mitigation measures to ensure the health and well-being of the small number of colleagues working there. These include strictly limiting the number of staff allowed in the office at any one time, ensuring a minimum 2m social distance can always be maintained and increasing routine office cleaning and providing appropriate infection control measures (wipes/hand sanitisers, etc) for use within the office.
To continue to ensure the safety of colleagues and clients, we are restricting visits to our offices (other than essential deliveries) to ‘business critical’ appointments only. These visits will be assessed on an individual basis.
Wherever possible, actual face-to-face meetings will be replaced by video or tele-conferencing, etc. Of course, site visits/inspections will continue to take place as required. We have produced detailed and comprehensive advice for any staff going out to site and they will also complete the necessary Risk Assessment & Safe System of Work forms before visits and observe appropriate social distancing and infection control measures, including the wearing of appropriate PPE where advisable.
We are fully committed to continuing to deliver our best service despite the unusual circumstances in which we all find ourselves.
DCP is fortunate in having an H&S expert on site to help with these arrangements. If you are worried about how to meet the new COVID-19 health & safety requirements for your work premises, and would like some expert advice, please contact Jon Rensink on 07785425295. He would be very happy to help.
