Work has started on new commercial units in the pretty Norfolk village of Heydon.
Following the successful completion and subsequent letting of Phase 1 of the development at Church Farm Barns in 2018, DCP have obtained planning permission for Phase 2 which will see a further four 40m² commercial units provided on the site. DCP is acting as contract administrator for the project, which is being built by Cawston based firm ND Willan. Works started on site 2 January 2019 with completion of the development anticipated in July.
We have been delighted to work on a number of projects in Heydon for our client, Heydon Estates. In addition to the conversion of the Grade II Listed Church Farm Barns we were also involved in the renovation of a grade II listed gate house in the village and the Heydon Village Tea Shop.
One of only about 12 privately owned villages in the country Heydon has twice won Norfolk’s Village of the Year competition and became the county’s first conservation area in 1971.
