We are delighted to report the handover of keys for the new Academy of Sport and Wellbeing in Perth on 22 August 2016.
The £7m state of the art facility includes a multi-use hall, which will be used for National competitions, but can also convert into a presentation and graduation venue. There are teaching spaces as well as a hair salon and three beauty therapy studios.
The successful culmination of this project reflects the huge effort by all involved to meet a very tight deadline, enabling both the new sports curriculum to start at the beginning of in September and courses for the hair and beauty therapy students.
Daniel Connal Partnership acted as Project Manager on the scheme assisting its sports hall design and project management partner, Ball Hall, in the successful delivery of the new Academy.
“Ball Hall and their consultants have taken the building from inception to completion and the College are delighted with their approach and the new facility, which will allow us to increase our curriculum offering, encourage sport and health, and host major events.” – Gilbert Valentine Head of Estates, Perth College, UHI
